A few recent publications have suggested that SNP densities between 1,000 and 2,000 SNPs have frequently had similar selection accuracies for Genomic Prediction as those using high-density genotyping with tens of thousands of SNPs (Kriaridou, K. et al 2020) (Kaeppler, S. et al 2024), demonstrating the accuracy and cost-savings offered by mid-plex genomic selection methodologies like PlexSeq™.
We offer full-service SNP genotyping in our labs - starting with DNA extraction and concluding with the delivery of our concise PlexCall report.
